Institutional Conduct, Professional Standards, Safety and Workplace Accountability — Effective August 2026
The Canada Africa Strategic Innovation Partnership Alliance, CASIPA, maintains a professional workplace grounded in integrity, respect, accountability, stewardship, inclusion, service, and institutional responsibility. This policy applies to all personnel and is acknowledged by every applicant before joining CASIPA.
Respect governs how we treat people.
Integrity governs how we make decisions.
Stewardship governs how we manage institutional resources.
Accountability governs how we deliver our responsibilities.
Professionalism governs how we represent CASIPA.
Service governs why the institution exists.
The Canada Africa Strategic Innovation Partnership Alliance, CASIPA, maintains a professional workplace grounded in integrity, respect, accountability, stewardship, inclusion, service, and institutional responsibility.
CASIPA works across governments, diplomatic institutions, universities, corporations, innovation organizations, investors, founders, diaspora communities, and international partners. Every person representing CASIPA carries responsibility for protecting the credibility of the institution and the quality of its relationships.
This policy establishes the workplace standards expected across CASIPA offices, remote work, events, meetings, digital platforms, partner locations, business travel, international engagements, and any setting where an individual represents CASIPA.
The policy draws from workplace principles reflected across Global Affairs Canada and the Trade Commissioner Service. Global Affairs Canada identifies integrity, honesty, trust, respect, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement as central elements of workplace culture. The Trade Commissioner Service also places high ethical standards, responsible business conduct, and protection of private information within its institutional mandate.
