Overview
Support CASIPA's investment readiness work, funding research, and financial documentation. This role is for analytically strong individuals who want hands-on exposure to early-stage finance across Canada and Africa.
About This Role
As the Investment & Finance Associate, you will support the financial side of CASIPA's mission — researching funding programs, preparing investment-readiness materials, analyzing funding trends across the Canada-Africa corridor, and maintaining financial documentation. This role requires rigor. You will be expected to work with numbers carefully, produce clear analysis, and communicate findings in plain, credible language. Your work helps African and Canadian ventures access the capital they need to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Research funding programs, grants, and investment programs across Canada and Africa
- Support the preparation of investment-readiness materials
- Analyze funding trends across the Canada-Africa corridor
- Maintain financial documentation and funding records
- Support startups and ventures in preparing funding materials
- Track donor, government, and institutional funding opportunities
- Improve how CASIPA organizes funding intelligence

Selection Process
1. Application review by CASIPA team 2. Pre-screen conversation (15 to 20 minutes). Internship details, including structure, schedule, and terms, are discussed at this stage after application review 3. Finance analysis task review 4. Final interview with CASIPA leadership 5. Offer and onboarding
Eligibility
Open to students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals with strong analytical and financial skills. Remote participation accepted. Applicants from Canada and Africa are strongly encouraged to apply.
