Review & Relationship

CASIPA evaluates all inbound inquiries against our annual partnership intake criteria. Selected organisations are contacted for a structured introductory engagement.

Days 60 to 120

MoU Negotiation

3-year renewable MoU. Joint steering committee. IP & data sharing terms. CASIPA legal team prepares the draft framework.

Days 120 to 180

Program Activation

Joint 12-month program calendar. Shared accountability framework. Bilateral announcement coordinated with CASIPA communications team.

Co-Launch or Fund a CASIPA Program

CASIPA selectively reviews organisations interested in co-launching, scaling, or funding innovation programs between Canada and Africa. Participation is assessed based on alignment, credibility, implementation capacity, and long-term commitment.

Co-Launch This Program

Apply for a co-launch role in a CASIPA program. Universities, government agencies, technology companies, foundations, research institutions, corporate partners, and diaspora organisations are all eligible to apply. Participation is reviewed for strategic fit.

Fund This Program

Support the development and delivery of innovation, technology, research, entrepreneurship, and talent initiatives. This is not sponsorship. It is participation in building future innovation infrastructure between Canada and Africa.

CASIPA admits a select number of institutional partners each year.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Only organisations that meet CASIPA's bilateral mandate criteria will be advanced to the MoU stage.
